How do I pay for shipping costs?
Updated over a week ago

Suppliers can choose from 3 available shipping options for domestic and international shipments.

  1. Flat Rate Shipping - The supplier will charge a single flat fee for each order.

  2. Free Shipping - The price of shipping is already included in the product cost.

  3. Live Rates - Crowdship will automatically calculate the cost of shipping using the cheaper (or specified) shipping method based on the supplier location, the customers location, and the package dimensions

Some suppliers use the Crowdship dashboard to print shipping labels, while others use a 3rd party system.

For suppliers who print labels via Crowdship:

You can add your Shippo account to Crowdship to automatically bill postage cost to your Shippo account when a supplier prints labels in their Crowdship dashboard.

If no shippo account is specified, your card will be charged for shipping when the supplier calculates label cost and prints postage in Crowdship.

If your supplier is collecting payment via Crowdship autopay, this will be a separate transaction from the original order payment transaction.

For suppliers who print labels outside of Crowdship:

You'll automatically be charged for postage at the time of purchase if your supplier uses autopay.

If the supplier collects payment manually outside of Crowdship, the shipping amount will be added to your purchase order invoice.
